Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

We currently are in network with BCBS, Sanford, Medicare and Medicaid. For those with other insurance, including Tricare, we do offer affordable options for you. Please call our office at 701.838.0090 with any questions.

Do you see many children in your office?

YES! Dr. Becky Perry-Domres only sees babies/kids and Prenatal! After school hours are some of our favorite times because of the influx of all the children! Dr. Kirk also loves seeing young athletes and helping them to reach their goals.

How long will it take?

Treatment plans at Premier Chiropractic are customized to each individual patient. Things such as injury history, age, hobbies, work, etc., can all play a factor in your recovery and recovery time. The more compliant you are with the doctor’s recommendations (exercises, diet, etc.), the faster you will see results.

What services do you offer?

Chiropractic Adjustments, Acupuncture, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Myofascial Release, Nutrition and supplementation, Rock Tape/Kinesio tape, Prenatal and Pediatric Chiropractic care and Functional Rehabilitation/Corrective Exercise. The key to these techniques is knowing when to apply what technique to each individual patient (this is NOT a cookie cutter approach, everyone is unique and treated as such).

What is Functional Rehabilitation?

Functional rehabilitation looks at the movement of your entire body, instead of focusing only on the area of pain. This gives a good indication if something may be “off” with your movement biomechanically that may be leading to your problem. One common misconception is that the problem is always where the pain is. Decreasing pain is important, but improving functional movement to allow you to live the life you want to live is the ultimate goal.

Why do kids need to see a chiropractor?

There is actually a variety of reasons for a child to see a chiropractor. Many parents nowadays are choosing to be proactive with their children’s health, rather than reactive. This fits perfectly with chiropractic, which is wellness-based and thus proactive and preventative.

Other common reasons for children to see a chiropractor include difficulty nursing, colic, and ear/sinus infections, which are all conditions often caused by problems with the upper neck that likely were caused by birth trauma (emergency C-section, forceps, vacuums, or abnormal presentation in utero). Parents also bring their kids to a chiropractor for care of colds and flu-like issues.
Our office specializes in the care of children with Neuro-Developmental Disorders such as autism, ADD/ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and learning disabilities. Since chiropractic seeks to restore balance and proper function to the nervous system, chiropractic for these kids often has life-altering changes!

Is it safe to be adjusted while pregnant?

Absolutely! In fact, chiropractic care is very beneficial during pregnancy. Not only does it allow for the mother to feel her best throughout the entire process but by balancing the nervous system, relieving stress, improving pelvic alignment and decreasing any tightness in the pelvic muscles/ligaments it can prepare a mother for her best labor yet!

Dr. Becky Perry-Domres is certified in Webster’s Technique, which is specifically designed for adjusting pregnant mothers.
